Study habits

Back in high school, I really never have to study for my test. Either I look at the notes really quickly or just remember things the teacher said the day before the test. People will later ask me how long I study for the test. My friends will be suprise when I say that I really didn't study for the test at all. Then later they would tell me that I was very smart and didn't have to study for my test. To tell you the truth, it's not really being smart. In high school, it's more of taking in information over and over again and just putting it back on a peice of paper. There is really no critical thinking involved. Going to college, I thought that the same study habit was going to work. Boy was I wrong. The first test for my biology test was not pretty. I learn quickly that I was going to have to put in some time to study for my other test. I had to find a new study habit for college. I wish I has my friend study habit. He could study for hours and remember things word for word. I can't do this because I really get distracted really easily. So my new way for studing for college was to study for 30 minutes to a hour and then rest a bit and then study again. My friend get really stress out when it comes to test. I think that sometimes he over study for the test. By the time he gets to the test, he would either doubt himself or forgets what he study. So my advise to all high school students is to find a healthy study habit and get use to it. Because if you didn't have to study for high school, you will defiently study for college. And don't over study. Stress will get the best out of you.

I don't really know what to write about so I decided to write about what had happen to me and why I haven't been to class lately. I have a bulging disk/slip disk which hurts really bad and make me almost unmoveable. I can barely sit down. About three years ago, I was playing football for my high school. It happen during weight lifting class. For some reason that day, I decided not to stretch and decided to do some heavy squat. My friend had on 315 lbs and I got under the bar and started to squat. After the 4th one, I felt something shot right throught my back down towards my leg. I rack the bar and went and say down. Thinking nothing of it, I went on did my daily routine. It wasn't hurting so I though I just needed to stretch it. Well after half of the season of football, a sharp pain when down my back and I couldn't move. I was just walking to class when this happen. This pain now is on and off. I don't know when it's going to happen again and then it happen again three weeks ago. I been in the bed for almost two weeks. Can't move, walk, or do anything. I was almost like a vegetable. Moral of the story, stretch first before doing anything heavy.
