Are you ready for college?
When I was a senior in college, I was so ready to get out and go into the world of college. But what I didn't know was that I wasn't even barely ready for college. I mean I send in all of my application and took all of my test that was required. I never thought of not getting accepted. Turns out that the three school that I applied to only one accepted me which was in the Spring semester. I didn't like that so I decided to applied for another school. Long story short, I went to a private university which I hated it. Private school which equals expensive tuition. In high school, I would like for a change for which students are to be more aware of college. There should have a class for 30 minutes once a week to where students are allowed to ask question about college. Not just university but as well as community college. Ask question about financial aid, college applications, and other forums that are needed.

Heros vs Villain
During last class, we were put into our writing group and was to talk about the movies and tv show we all know. To say the least, I knew some tv shows that guys are supposed to know about or last seen. Because of my little sister, these movies or tv show was at least seen once or at least heard of by me. This experience was quite funny. Anyways, we had to figure out who was the hero and who was the villain. We figure out that most of the hero was that main character and the villain was the secondary character. According to the movie "The Blindside," the hero will be the mother who save Big Mike. And the antagonist would be the gang that he first hang out with. He learned a new sport and got a big scholarship to the college of Mississippi. This shows the hardship of the main character has to suffered and all of the choices he has to make.

Good Vs. Evil
In last class, we were put into different groups and was to bring up ideas and information on a certain type of subjects. This was my group who had Good vs. Evil. One of the biggest idea that I want to focus on was the news and media. For the example, I will use the shooting at Sandy Hook as an example. The good guy will apparently be the cops, teachers, EMS, and other people who was involved to help save the students. The bad guy would have been Adam Lanza. Similarly to writing, the good guy and the bad guy will have to face off at the end of the story and one will have to win. When the good guy win, he would always be remember like in spider-man or superman; the the bad guy is never seen or heard from again. But is it the same in the real world? That the question. to understand this, please look at the video I am about to post.

The Doubting Game
Last class, we were able to play the Doubting Game. This is where we as the student can doubt any that was said from Peter Elbow. I believed that this was a great exercise because everything is not perfect. There is always going to be a flaw in everything. Nothing is perfect. Not everyone can play the same game and learn from the same game. This was exposed when we were suppose to bring in a game to class. Not everyone was interested in the Rubik's cubes as other students. Other game was just brought in just to say that they brought a game. At one point of the discussion, I said that school is a competition. I believed that school is a competition because that high school is where it happens. Everyone is trying to compete to get better grades and go to the college that they want to go to. Trying to get compete with other students for scholarships for school. I believed that there is competition everywhere. The Doubting Game was a really good game for us to open our eyes.
